Colour/Nose: A lovely basket of fresh fruit and flowers enhanced by a slightly smoky hint. We are transported into a field of wild blackberries in the middle of the garrigue with floral notes of violet or rose. Niellucciu unveils its indulgence and intensity

Palate: We bite into plump juicy black fruit with gusto, the wine is both powerful and crisp. Jammy notes of blackberry and strawberry combine with a bouquet of spices. The tannins are present but already blended in the wine. The finish has a roasted delicate flavour with a hint of chocolate. An exceptional vintage due to its balance and expression.

Serving temperature: 16°C

This great Corsican red wine is superb with game such as quail. It would go well in general with meat dishes. Try it with rack of lamb.
