Wines from the Protected Designation of Origin Corsica have been produced for over 50 years in an environment particularly conducive to vine cultivation, on soil composed of granite and red clay. They benefit from a perfect climatic balance to offer you the essence of Corsican sunshine in your glass.

Tasting note : 

Colour : Garnet red.

Nose: Beautiful complexity with fruity and spicy notes. Intense expression of ripe red and black fruits (strawberries, cherries, plums) as well as licorice and noble spices such as vanilla or cloves. A true journey through the Corsican maquis!

Palate : A flavorful red from the first sip, very silky, with polished and melded tannins in the structure. The palate is particularly indulgent, with lingering spicy and mocha notes

• Service temperature : 10-12°C

• For a daring pairing, try this wine with salmon in American sauce (ideal with the taste of tomato and spices in this recipe). For classic pairings, it's a wine that pairs well with grilled or sauced red meats, Mediterranean dishes like ratatouille or stuffed tomatoes. Finally, nothing beats a lovely cheese platter!
