Taste the corsican exoticism... an ancestral terroir, indigenous grape varieties, rigorous parcel selection, hand-picked grapes. the wines of the indication géographique protégée (igp) isle of beauty reveal their full originality during the blending of traditional corsican grape varieties with newly planted mediterranean ones. these cuvées stand out for their balance, generosity, as well as their typicality and finesse.
Tasting note:
Appearance: Deep purple-red with violet reflections.
Nose: Expressive and complex nose combining notes of black fruits, olives, spices, and mocha.
Palate: The palate is generous, well-balanced with notes of red fruits, cedar, with a slightly woody finish. The tannins are present but silky.
Food pairing :
- Service temperature : 16-18°C
- Very accomplished, this finely crafted red wine will elevate the finest grilled meats. It will also pair perfectly with more exotic dishes such as lamb tagine with prunes or beef Stroganoff.
